WAPAC Missions Day is a phenomenal opportunity for our teens to experience missions in our own backyard. This year we plan to put our faith in action once again and share the love of Christ with our brothers and sisters who are in great need.
Simple Unity brings together multiple student ministries throughout western Washington to serve. Young people break barriers between community and church in order to do simple service like painting, construction, putting on community events, and helping those in need. WAPAC Missions Day is about three things: In the Name of Jesus. Everything WAPAC Missions Day does is a result of the love of Jesus. Because we are loved we serve and love others; make this a time to flex your faith muscles and serve others in the name of Jesus! A Heart of Social Justice. God cares about the well being of his people and practically living out God's concern begins with serving one's own community. As young people experience God's grace and begin to serve and love their own community, God's heart for social justice shines through. Listening & Obeying to the Holy Spirit. God speaks to us everyday, but it is our choice to listen and obey what God is calling us to do. WAPAC Missions Day is an opportunity to practice listening and obeying the Holy Spirit within a safe, loving environment of Christians. |
