Hey there gamers!
STEP UP YOUR GAME and do the following!!!

  1. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!!!!
  2. GAMING AND HAVING FUN IS A PRIVILEGE WE CAN'T TAKE FOR GRANTED. DO SOMETHING (NON-GAMING) SIGNIFICANT TODAY!
Heck, aim to do something positive and Jesus-worthy every day of your life!
  3. BE READY TO BROADEN YOUR HORIZONS AND TRY SOMETHING NEW!
If you play CoD all the time, then don't play it all day long at the gaming event. (Actually, CoD will be limited to as few machines as possible.)
PARENTS!! - Please make sure your teen has eaten a big breakfast.  They won't get actual real sustenance until dinner time, which will cost $4. There will be junk food, but we all know that isn't quality eats.

What to Bring:
  • $4 for dinner
  • Yourself &  a good attitude (A MUST!)
  • Friends!
  • All things games related (controllers, games, handheld games, board games, etc.)
  • Favorite snack or drink to share (highly suggested but not required.)
  • Some cash if you want to buy stuff from the snack shack or vending machines.
During this study we will be taking a look at the subject matter through the three lenses of:
  • UP: What does God have to say about this?
  • IN: What changes are we called to make in our lives?
  • OUT: How do we apply this to our daily lives to help reach others for Jesus?

The GOSPEL is simple, yet profound.

Your teens may know the GOSPEL backwards and forwards, but have they wrestled with the deeper truths that are represented by the acrostic message?

In Life in 6 Words: The Gospel Explored, Greg Stier and spoken word artist Jason Petty (“Propaganda”) dive into the theology of the gospel message, unpacking core terms and concepts every follower of Jesus needs to grasp to fully understand the good news.

This curriculum will challenge your teenagers with truths that have the power to transform their own lives as well as enable them to more fully explain God’s great story to their friends.

Please keep modesty in mind when choosing swimwear.  Students that choose to wear revealing or otherwise inappropriate swimwear will not be allowed to participate in the swimming portion of the event.

Recommendations:
  • Gals: Modestly cut one-piece or Tankini
  • Guys: Swim trunks or Board shorts with waist ties (Say, "NO!" to crack!)

Students who have met the 2-day service requirement are invited to join us for a day of fun at Wild Waves Theme Park!

We will meet at Mountain View Church near the Teen Portable at 8:30 AM and depart promptly at 9:00 AM.  The park closes at 7 PM so we should be home no later than 8 PM.

WE ARE SORRY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THIS WEEK'S RIP-N-ROAR HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SCHEDULING CONFLICTS.  IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JOINING BOBBY ELDER AND HIS FAMILY FOR THE LACEY FIREWORKS DISPLAY, YOU CAN CONTACT HIM ON FACEBOOK.  THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL YOUTH EVENT AND, AS SUCH, NO TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED.
